حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَا حَسَدَتْكُمْ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ، مَا حَسَدَتْكُمْ عَلَى السَّلَامِ وَالتَّأْمِينِ.
Ishaq ibn Mansur narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Samad ibn ‘Abd al-Warith informed us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from ‘A’ishah, from the Prophet ﷺ who said:
“The Jews have not envied you for anything as much as they have envied you for giving salām and for saying Āmīn.”
