حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا حَسَدَتْكُمْ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مَا حَسَدَتْكُمْ عَلَى السَّلَامِ وَالتَّأْمِينِ.
Ishaq ibn Mansur narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Samad ibn ‘Abd al-Warith informed us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from ‘A’ishah, from the Prophet ﷺ who said:
“The Jews have not envied you for anything as much as they have envied you for giving salām and for saying Āmīn.”
